Notorious kidnapper Evans has filed a case against Nigerian Police Again of which he is demanding a N200m Compensation.
In this fresh suit which sitting was before a Federal High Court in Lagos, Evans whose real names are Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike wants the court to constrain the Nigerian police to let go of his residential house immediately. The properties which he stated are located in which are located in Magodo area of Lagos State.
Also, Evans requested that the police and its leadership apologize as well as pay him a compensation of about 1billion naira.
The compensation of 1billion which he requested is for general and exemplary damages for the alleged forceful seizure and confiscation of his properties without a court order and perpetual injunction restraining them from tampering or taking any action against him or any of his properties in relation to this case.
According to Evans, aside from the seizure of his 2 residential building, there were also other seized properties which he listed includes N50 million cash, a wrist-watch worth $170,000, a phone worth $30,000 and five pieces of Saphono Rucci Diamond rings worth $100,000.
Other things taken he said includes three Italian travel bags worth $55,000 dollars, 10 Spanish shoes each worth N2.5 million, 20 KVA inverter set worth N10 million and two sets of dining table worth N8 million.
Olukoya Ogungbeje who stood as his lawyer filed the suit against the Inspector General of Police, the Nigeria Police Force, the Intelligence Response Team, (IRT), ACP Abba Kyari and DSP Phillip Rieninwa.
The applicant also wants N4 million as the cost of action against the police. However, no date has been fixed for the hearing of the suit.
