- University of Calabar (UNICAL) requires five (5) O Level credit passes including English Language and Government and O Level pass in Mathematics. No candidates will be considered without a credit in English Language.

- FED-GASHUA for Public Administration requires Five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Government or History and at least a pass in Mathematics.
3. Drama/Dramatic/Performing Arts
- The University of Ibadan requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes to include English Language, Literature in English, and other subjects from Arts or Social Sciences.

- MAIDUGURI accepts O Level pass in Mathematics, but such candidates will be required to pass a remedial course in Mathematics.

- REDEEMERS University accepts O'Level pass in Mathematics.
- UNIKINGS and REDEEMERS require five (5) O Level credit passes to include English Language, Literature in English and a pass in Mathematics.

- University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) requires Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics or Biology. In other words, the university will accept either Mathematics or Biology but not necessarily the two together.

- Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba (AAUA), EDALV and University of Nigeria (UNN) accept O’Level pass in Mathematics or its equivalent. EDLAV accepts D7 in English Language or Mathematics.
- Imo State University (IMSU) requires Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics. In other words, one of physics or Mathematics
16. Food Science
- University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) accepts O’Level passes (D7 or E8) in Mathematics.
17. Physics
- University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) requires O’Level credit passes in Biology and Mathematics or Physics. In other words, the university will accept either Mathematics or Physics but not necessarily the two together.
18. Plant Biology
- Usmanu Danfodiyo University (UDU) and UNIMAID accept O’Level passes in Mathematics and English Language. This means the university accept D 7 or E8 for English or/and Mathematics
19. Pure and Applied Chemistry
- University of Calabar (UNICAL) requires an O’Level credit pass in Physics/Mathematics - that is, one of physics or Mathematics. UNICAL accepts O’Level D7 in English and one (1) of Mathematics or Biology.
20. Adult Education
- Enugu State University (ESUTECH) does not insist on Mathematics. This means they can accept D7, E8 or F9 in Mathematics.
- University of Calabar (UNICAL) requires O Level credit pass in English Language and O'Level pass in Mathematics
- Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) requires five (5) O Level credit passes at one (1) sitting or six (6) O Level credit passes at two (2) sittings to include English Language and other subjects from Arts, Social Sciences or Sciences. O Level pass in Mathematics is also required.
