Design and Display:
Like the original Nokia 6 first launched in 2017, the new Nokia 6 (2018) shows striking build. But one of the criticisms for the Nokia 6 was the under-powered processor, especially for its price. Its unibody design features a slab of 6000 series aluminium and diamond cut finishing. But it is thicker than 2017’s Nokia 6 at 8.15 mm. The Nokia 6 comes in three colour combinations: Black and Copper, White and Ivory, and Blue and Gold.
You get the same 5.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. There is rugged Corning Gorilla Glass in the mix for protection against scratches.
With Nokia 6, the camera is still 16MP on the back you could hardly tell the difference between the Nokia 6 (2018) and its predecessor on the surface but now with Zeiss Optics and there’s an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and phase detection autofocus (PDAF). There is still an 8MP selfie shooter with an 84-degree wide angle lens.
Pricing and availability:
The Nokia 6 (2018) is not yet officially available in Nigeria, but is currently offered on Jumia Nigeria by a Jumia Global partner for around N128,000 . When it becomes available in the country, the phone might go for N90,500 Naira to N125,000 depending on your location, you be able to buy the Nokia 6 (2018) at leading online stores in Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana.
